"Magic Lantern" and "Rolando Locomotov" will be available to the viewers in the Middle East and North Africa

Russian animated series "Magic Lantern" and "Rolando Locomotov" produced by Parovoz Animation Studio commissioned by Digital Television Russia and adapted for international sales by 0+ Media company, will become available to little viewers throughout the Middle East and North Africa - on the VOD platform of the largest broadcaster in the Arab region - MBC Group.

The agreement on the acquisition of rights to broadcast animated series was signed between Signal Media, a distributor of Digital Television Russia content, and MBC Group, whose portfolio includes 18 thematic channels, several radio stations, online portals and the first VOD –platform in the Arab region, where Russian cartoons will be available.

"Rolando Locomotov" – catchy and instructive stories which happen from time to time to restless kids, Jerry and Mary. Any everyday activity, from cooking a pie, riding a bicycle, surfing the internet, to taking a walk in a park, usually leads to unforeseen consequences. Thank goodness, there is always a wonderful superhero, Rolando Locomotov, nearby, who is ready to save everyone in a heartbeat. Rolando rescues Jerry and Mary when they get themselves caught in situations that turn so outrageously dangerous. Rolando always teaches them how to avoid future disasters through fun tactics. Each episode ends with simple rules from Rolando Locomotov, making it the best cautionary tale for kids.

"Magic Lantern" – an imaginative series based on the world's classic tales as told by the main characters through a projection of spectacular designs. Smarty-pants Kate teaches her baby brother Mike about the wonders of life through folk tales and beautiful images. Mike is a merry and mischievous young boy, a big dreamer and fan of computer games, who thinks reading is boring. In Magic Lantern, the siblings experience stories of classic literature — from the Musketeers, Gulliver to Oscar Wilde — as seen by captivating illustrations on a film-strip, created by 80 different acclaimed artists, discovering age-old life values for Mike and his sister. 

In February 2017, Interactive Moolt publishing house launched a family interactive game for VR devices developed according to the plot of the animated series - "The Magic Lantern VR", developed by Parovoz Animation Studio.

In addition, other mobile applications for kids, based on animated series, are also popular: "Rolando Locomotov" was ranked in the top of the best children's applications in App Store, and a mobile version of "Paper Tales", released in December 2015 topped the ratings of the most popular developing games for children in the categories "Top-paid", "Top-free" in the App Store and Google Play after just 3 days after the release.
