Digital Television Russia joined Belt and Road Media Community

Digital Television Russia group has become a full member of Belt and Road Media Community, international association of the Silk Road media companies.

The International Association of Media Companies of the Silk Road belt countries (Belt and Road Media Community), created by the initiative of the state media corporation of China – CCTV, includes 69 media companies from 41 countries of Central Asia, Europe and Africa. The main goal of the association is cooperation of the leading mass media of different countries and joint informational promotion of the economic development global strategy "One belt – one way". This Chinese initiative is aimed at the joint prosperity of the countries that have supported it, mutual development, the improvement of existing and the creation of new trade routes, transport routes, and economic corridors connetcting more than 60 countries.

The Memorandum of Cooperation and the entry of Digital Television Russia into the Association was signed during the annual Eurasian Media Summit "Integration, Innovation, Win-win, Development - 2017", held on December 14-15 in Beijing. It was attended by the Vice President of All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and Board Chairman of Digital Television Russia Dmitry Mednikov. And China Radio, Film & Television Program Exchanging Center, a part CCTV media corporation, signed the memorandum from the Chinese side.

The partnership with China Radio, Film & Television Program Exchanging Center is a part of the DTR international promotion strategy and strengthening of the Russian company's position in China.

The first partner of Digital Television Russia in this country was LeEco corporation that began distributing Russian cartoons on one of the largest online platforms LeTV in summer of 2016. The animated series "Be-be-bears" for the first three days of the broadcasting raised a record 6 million views!

More than 500 episodes of Russian animated series fully adapted to the Chinese language: "Leo and Tig", "Be-be-bears", "Fantasy Patrol", "Paper Tales", "Rolando Locomotov", "Magic Lantern" will become available in the near future on digital platforms and Internet resources of the state telecommunications company – China Telecom.

Also, Chinese people will be able to use developmental mobile applications for children created on the basis of these animated series. This is the result of the cooperation of Digital Television Russia and one of the largest Chinese companies in the mobile applications industry – Dazzle Interactive Network Technologies.
19 factual entertainment TV shows of different genres and thematic, produced by Digital Television Russa, will be introduced in China by the largest video platform of Shanghai – Bilibili. 

In November, the online cinema purchased more than 100 hours of the content. These are the projects dedicated to travels and cultures of different peoples ("Planet of Tastes", "World Market", "Dancing Planet", "Globetrotter"), science ("Experiments", "Giant Leap", "It’s in Your Brain"), wild ("Amur Tiger. The Path to the Sacred Mountain", "Arctic: Underwater Aliens"), men ("Target Range", "Man in Arms", "St. Andrew’s Flag").
