November 15, 2017, in Cancun, Mexico, the 4th Latin American television market and the MIPCancun summit begins its work. The entire event is devoted to the Latin American television market and is focused on sales to this region, where more than 600 million people live that is 8.5% of the world population.
This year, the event traditionally gathers the leading buyers of Latin America, USA and Canada, and producers of television and digital content from around the world who are interested in promoting their projects to this market. In total, 124 buyers from 23 countries of the region and more than 600 participants, in general, came to Cancun.
