RTP is the national broadcaster of Portugal, and the oldest media company of the country existed since 1957. The holding manages two national leading TV channels with the largest audience - RTP1 and RTP2, as well as a number of radio stations and several thematic channels.

The premiere of the documentary project "Arctic: Underwater Aliens", telling about the unique fauna of the Arctic waters washing the Russian northern borders, was held on the My Planet TV channel this spring. From the first minutes of the film, the spectators are captivated with the incomparable beauty and richness of the Arctic underwater world.

For extraordinary beauty and mystery, biologists call the underwater world of the Arctic " underwater aliens", compare it with the universe in miniature, which operates its own, unearthly laws. Here, under the water, man is not yet the master, but only an observer and researcher.

A lot of underwater shooting is used in the film, which was made by the biologists of the White Sea MSU station. The documentary was produced by My Planet television channel, a part of Digital television Russia, with the support of the Russian Geographical Society.
