The popular Russian project "Dancing Planet", produced by the "My Planet" TV channel and adapted for international sales by Digital Television Russia, will soon be available for the viewers of North America, the Middle East, Europe and Singapore in ABS-CBN International network, on Lifestyle Network TV channel.

The agreement to acquire the rights to the line-up was concluded by ABS-CBN International, a member of the largest Philippine media holding ABS-CBN Corporation, and Signal Media, an exclusive distributor of Digital Television Russia content. The premiere of the first episode of "Dancing Planet" is scheduled for the evening prime time on July 28th on the Lifestyle Network TV channel.

Lifestyle Network - a 24-hour television channel in English, dedicated to the interests and hobbies of modern women. "We have very good expectations from the cooperation with Signal Media that offers truly high-quality content that combines the best traditions of the factual entertainment genre, fascinating stories, and the latest shooting technologies. Selecting programs for our channel, we, first of all, give preference to the projects that will awaken a thirst for creativity and self-expression in our viewers. "Dancing planet" has suited to us precisely because of its unique format, combining the oldest form of expression of feelings through movement to music and travel. We are sure that our audience will appreciate the new cycle and sincerely feel the dances, travel and cultural features of different corners of our planet, " - comments Eylen Paredes, the representative of ABS-CBN Global Ltd.

"We are very pleased to start cooperation with ABS-CBN International. It is a great success that our content will not simply replenish the library of the Philippine media holding, but will be broadcast on prime time on the largest live television network around the world," - says Mikhail Kovalchuk, CEO of Signal Media.
"Dancing planet" is a factual entertainment project well known to Russian viewers of "My Planet" TV channel. In each episode, choreographer Alexander Pukhov learns a new dance, going to its homeland. Movements, music, rhythms - that's all that makes him feel comfortable at any dance event - from a Vienna Opera Ball to a Cuban party.

The deal with a Philippine broadcaster is not the first international success of Digital Television Russia content, so in April 2017 it was announced that Discovery Communications group bought the rights to broadcast two animated series – “Be-be-bears” and “Paper Tales”, and a month before they acquired the largest national Media holding of Hungary MTVA.

The entrance of Signal Media and Digital Television Russia into the international market began in October 2016 with a large-scale presentation at the main world telemarket MIPJunior and MIPCOM (Cannes, France).
